Organized by the Marmara Municipalities Union (MBB), Marmara Urban Forum (MARUF) is one of the leading urban forums in the world, bringing together a diverse range of voices to discuss the future of cities.

Taking place on October 1-3, 2025, at the Haliç Congress Center in Istanbul, MARUF25 brings together cities from across the Marmara Region with international participants, connecting stakeholders from local governments, academia, the private sector and civil society.

This year, under the theme “At the Edge of All Possibilities,” thousands of participants will come together to exchange ideas and explore new collaborations around sustainability, resilient cities, digitalization, social inclusion and many other topics shaping the future of urban life.
